Utopia Project
The Utopia Aqua Vista project is a conceptual vision of a future in which humans have adapted to live in both aquatic and terrestrial environments as a result of rising sea levels due to climate change. In this speculative design scenario, cities like New York, which have been severely impacted by flooding, have developed dual living systems - partly underwater and partly on land.
The project envisions sustainable floating cities or buildings that blend seamlessly with the ocean. People will live in harmony with the marine ecosystem and architecture and fashion will be adapted to life on the water. Architecture and fashion will draw inspiration from marine life, incorporating aquatic design and materials that can withstand the underwater environment.
